It's not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leon's door. It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portman's face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.

实话实说，《达芬奇密码》这本书本身也并非文学价值很高的作品，其中的创意、理论甚至是写作手法都充满了抄袭和借鉴的影子。丹·布朗唯一值得称道的是，他用最聪明的办法把这些东西揉在一起，并赶在一个对信仰充满怀疑的危机年代出了这本书。
无论怎样，对于爱好神秘科学的人来说，即使这样一本略带快餐文学和奇幻小品色彩的小说还是会吸引你在一个晚上连夜读完。
加上好莱坞的大制作、汉克斯和法国天使的搭档，也使得我对电影充满了期待——这种期待的基础是只希望能再现书中紧张气氛和高智商的推理，并不指望一部根据畅销书改编的电影能有什么惊喜和突破。
问题在于，连这样一种期待基本也没能实现。电影里的汉克斯们仿佛变成解迷类RPG游戏的角色，表情做作、节奏混乱，根本不像是一部好莱坞的精美电影。
不过，我们不能责怪汉克斯和他的美丽女搭档奥黛丽·塔图，毕竟他们已经努力在做了，只是编剧和导演赋予他们发挥的空间实在太狭小。首先，对比原着中更加犀利和明显地嘲讽天主教廷，电影在此弱化的太多太多。大概是考虑到天主教徒们对电影的反对吧，电影在很多情节和对白上都缓和了不少，这样使得本应该多少能反映现代社会信仰危机的可能性丧失殆尽，关于基督的争议在电影里面彻头彻尾地变成了一个戏剧的噱头，而非严肃和现实的历史问题。其次，作为原着特色之一的悬疑和紧张气氛，在电影中几乎仅仅单纯地演变成恐怖——比方说事共会的肉体苦修、隐修会的神婚仪式等等。此外，电影的节奏把握也很成问题，虽然在150分钟里看似迷题一个接着一个，但实际上却令人感觉毫无变化，前30分钟觉得刺激，后面的时间里就觉得“审美疲劳”，尤其是在电影后段中缺乏更新鲜的镜头的时候。
如果说，以上种种都是由于电影本身的特点不得不改变的话，那么个人倒是认为没有再现原着中精巧和充满智慧的各种解迷元素反而是电影的致命伤。这就好像你在玩一个类似“古墓丽影”的游戏，第一个迷题是1+1等于几，第二个迷题就是2+2等于几一样乏味。各种迷题设计的是不是令人赞叹却恰恰是这种冒险类电影的杀手锏，看看以前的印第安纳琼斯系列就晓得了。
尽管如此，说了一大堆的缺点，还是要提几个值得一看的地方。出演白化病人赛拉斯的演员保罗·贝塔尼很不错，虽然台词并不很多，其中还有相当一部分是我们一点也听不懂的拉丁语，不过表情和细节动作却十分到位。其次，虽然百分之九十九的内容都没有改编的令人满意，但是影片最后结尾对小说的改编却十分有新意，甚至可以说更好一些。个人最喜欢的部分也是最后汉克斯以古代圣殿骑士的姿势跪在抹拉大陵墓前的那一幕。
